Tangled Wires

I was watching the news the other day and the segment was the one where an ordinary citizen can seek the help of the news station to fix something in their area.  I was amused that the problem they were reporting that day was only about cable wires but when they flashed the cable wires in question on the TV screen I was disgusted with what I saw.  The cable wires from different cable, phone, and internet companies were installed haphazardly and it was so disgusting to look at.  It also became a hazard because truck pass there all the time and it was not uncommon that a wire would get stuck in a truck thus interrupting their services.

Good thing the residents knew where to complain.  Just a call from the news team got the different cable and internet companies running to the site.  They promised to fix the problem right away.  I know they would contact an Equipment Rental company to fix the problem.  These services have company trucks at their disposal but if they want to fix the problem they would need more than that.  They would have to look for  scissor lifts rental to untangle those cable wires.  Aside from that, the different companies would have to work closely together in order for it to be a success.

Audition for Church Band

Hubby is planning to audition as a guitarist for CCF.  He has been practicing every afternoon after he goes home from work.  Of course, Z wouldn’t let him practice without him tagging along so whenever he sees his Dad pulling out his guitar and sitting in front of the computer he would pull out his own chair and put it beside Dad and get his own guitar.  It doesn’t matter how long Dad practices – maybe an hour or two – Z would patiently “practice” with him.  Sometimes I would catch Z just looking at what his Dad is doing.  Now, it’s for sure we have another guitarist in the house.  Pretty soon Z would be accompanying his Dad to his gigs.  Oh, I really hope hubby gets accepted as a guitarist in CCF.  I would want Z to see his Dad serving the Lord through music and I hope Z would follow in his Dad’s footsteps.

Once you’ve found the car dealer for you then it’s time to look for the perfect car.  Do a lot of research before walking inside a car dealer so that you’ll at least have an idea about what car would be perfect for you.  Car salesman will try different tactics to get you to buy the first time you walk in but I strongly advise against buying a car on the first day.  Don’t buy a car in a hurry, be prepared to walk away so you can have a couple of days to think about it and then go back again.  Only when you’re absolutely sure should you make the purchase.  Once you’ve found the one for you you can do a little negotiating to maybe knock off  a few hundred dollars off the selling price.

Still Smoking

Oh no, the toddler who was reported as smoking is still smoking until today and can’t seem to kick his habit.  His mother has given up on him and was reported as saying that she thinks he would never be able to kick this bad habit of his.  It’s so sad that this child unknowingly is destroying his body at a very young age.  When he gets older it’ll be likely that he’ll also need pronexin because smoking is also bad for the skin. As for the lung ailments he’s going to face – oh, let’s just hope that by some miracle he’ll never suffer from those.

Is anybody going to help this child before it’s too late?
