Every new year, our family has one more reason to celebrate.
That one reason is the birth of my husband.
Yes, he was born a few minutes past midnight while the whole world was rejoicing.
He told me how his mother nearly died giving birth.
The doctors and nurses were in a celebratory mood that time and who can blame them, after all it’s a brand new year. Which may be the reason why they left something in his mom’s tummy after stitching her up. She bled and bled and when they opened her wounds they found a foreign object left behind.
So scary, right?
Anyway, let’s greet my hubby a very happy birthday! He might be in denial that he’s already 33 but in my eyes he’ll always be 25. LOL! We love you, Dad!

Happy birthday to your hubby! It must be fun to celebrate your birthday when everyone else is celebrating too. Too bad about what happened after his birth, I hope the hospital covered all their bills (at the least).
That’s terrible! I remember a cousin who had a CS at a government hospital. Minutes after they stitched her cut, the doctors and nurses got frantic and wheeled her at the X-Ray room! Turned out they were missing one instrument and thought it was inside her belly!
As they say, Christmas and New Year and their Eves are the worst days to be sick! First of all, there is an unavailability of doctors who want to go on duty… or worse, your doctor is really out of town! Second, those on duty are in a celebratory mood, as you said… not necessarily focused! Good, his mom and your husband made it through….

Belated Happy Birthday. I always have that fear since all my kids were delivered via cesarean section. It scares me that something else is left behind.

I always think that to have birthdays at the start of the year is nice timing: feel na feel mo mag plan because new year and you just turned a year older.
