Reward Cards Explained

By | August 10, 2010

As the competition between credit card companies becomes stiffer they found more ways to get the consumer’s business.  One of the most successful strategy is launching reward cards.  A reward card will let you earn incentives the more you use it. The incentives can be in the form of free air travel, rebates, gasoline, or a free merchandise.  Reward cards are for heavy card users because most often than not you will have to make a considerable amount of purchase before you can get a reward.

A word of caution though.  Reward cards are not for everyone.  If you maintain a minimum balance and not pay your bill in full then these cards are not for you.  You’re better off finding a card that will give you the lowest interest than offer the best rewards.
