How to Withdraw your Paypal Money to your BPI Bank Account
By Paula | April 24, 2010
Withdrawing your Paypal money to your BPI Bank Account is fast and easy. Once you have your BPI Account number on hand, sign in to your Paypal account, click My Account then click Withdraw.
Click Withdraw Funds to your Bank Account. For amounts more than P7,000 Paypal will not charge you a single penny. They will charge you P50 though for withdrawals less than P7k. BPI, on the other hand, will charge P150 regardless of the amount you withdraw. I know Unionbank’s Eon charges cheaper but hey, I found BPI’s charge okay since I don’t have my Eon yet.
First, you have to add your BPI Bank account information – Name on your Bank Account, Bank Name (in this case, Bank of the Philippine Islands), Bank code (the bank code for BPI is 010040018), and then you BPI Bank Account Number. Note that the name on your Paypal account must exactly match the name on your BPI Account. If it does not match then the transaction would not go through and you will be charged a return fee of P250. So check your bank account and make the necessary changes in your Paypal if it does not match.
Next, review your bank account information and click on Add Bank Account.
You can now withdraw your money. Specify the amount you wish to withdraw and click Continue. Waiting time is 2 to 4 business days. I was expecting it to take four days but it only took two days for my withdrawal to reflect in my BPI account. I was so happy because I can buy the Kipling bag my hubby wanted. All I have to do was withdraw the money in my ATM account afterwards.
You can also withdraw your Paypal money to other bank accounts just input the correct bank codes. Just look for the bank code in the list below and you’re good to go.

I have successfully added my BPI account but why is it that after I entered the amount to be withdrawn it tells me “The amount you are trying to withdraw is greater than your withdrawal limit. Please link and confirm a debit or credit card to lift this limit.”? What do i need to do? please help..thank u
admin on May 10, 2010 at 3:29 am.
@Jen – before you can withdraw you need to have your credit card linked first to change your paypal from unverified to verified. then after that you can have your bank account linked for withdrawal.

Hi!
Thanks for this very helpful post! I just registered for paypal. Medyo na-lost lang ako at first since the only accounts I have are metrobank (credit card) and bpi (atm). Nakakatuwa naman na I can buy and sell na online with the help of my 2 accounts.
As of now I’m waiting na lang for the confirmation code of my credit card from metrobank. Thanks again for posting this!

Hi!
I am really confused here. Can I withdraw funds from my bpi atm card? ung atm card ko is my payroll account from work but do i really have to link a credit card pra mkpg withdraw? thanks sis…..
admin on July 30, 2010 at 5:55 am.

Admin if wednesday ko iload yung funds ko from paypal to my BPI account, how many days do you think would it take bago mapunta sa BPI account ko yung funds? I’m a freelancer in oDesk and I use to load my salary to my Payoneer debit card. kaso sobrang laki ng nababawas. First time ko kasi mag transfer ng funds bukas sa BPI kaya medyo kinakabahan ako. Thanks in advance Admin!
admin on August 11, 2010 at 5:19 am.
Good luck!
flint28 on August 12, 2010 at 7:31 am.
Admin, banking days ba pinag uusapan dito?
admin on August 12, 2010 at 11:31 pm.
yes, flint. banking days yan.
flint28 on August 13, 2010 at 4:41 pm.
Ah ganun ba.
flint28 on August 14, 2010 at 7:12 pm.
admin talaga bang di mababawas dun sa balance mo yung withdraw mo na amount hanggang di napupunta sa bank account mo?
admin on August 14, 2010 at 8:11 pm.
flint28 on August 15, 2010 at 9:52 am.

Hello Paula- Thank you for the informative post.
I had some problems linking my BPI DIRECT Savings account using the listed BPI bank code (010040018). Is it possible that BPI DIRECT is like BPI FAMILY SAVINGS in which it has a different PayPal bank code?
Thank you for your help with this.

hey… I’ve how to left out the limitation… of my withdrawal… in paypal? i’ve already added my bank account in paypal
Fubz on November 9, 2010 at 12:32 pm.
I tried this step by step withdrawing paypal funds to my bpi account. Well I am impressed with no doubt, just in two days my paypal funds was successfully transferred to my bpi account. I thought it will take like a week. Shocking to see it takes less than 5 days more like 2 days only. So I used the BANK OF THE PHIL ISLANDS 010040018; im not a bpi family savings’ user. I transferred my funds Sunday night and checking on this Tuesday morning through my bpiexpressonline well i am totally delighted seeing the successful result, though with a fee of 150 php was deducted ( i withdrawn less than 7000).
For first time user take note:
1)Ur paypal account must be verified. Debit or credit Card will do (MUST HAVE!).
2) If your paypal tells you to “lift your limits” U should mail your proof of identification with your name and address on it to paypal thru fax. Example: Billing address ( electricity, phone, etc), drivers license, etc with your name and address on it.
3) Then apply the step by step above.
Just have Patience and you will get what u waited for.
Thanks Paula!

Thanks!

I would like to ask, what’s about the account withdrawal limits? Paypal wouldn’t allow me to withdraw because of that. And they’re asking for a credit card verification before I can increase the limits. What shall I do? I dont have a credit card between American Express, Mastercard, or Visa only…
ken on December 7, 2010 at 1:29 pm.
Do you know the Paypal bank code of BPI Direct Savings Bank? Thanks.
andre on December 10, 2010 at 6:32 pm.
Hi,
I use both PayPal and BPI to purchase online and they are also linked.
For those of you who cannot withdraw and is prompted “The amount you are trying to withdraw is greater than your withdrawal limit. Please link and confirm a debit or credit card to lift this limit.” You need to verify your account first para maka-withdraw kayo and you need your own credit card to verify your account. The name of your credit card and the name in your PayPal account must be exactly the same.
Has anyone tried shopping at http://www.buyregalo.com? I always shop there to send gifts to the Philippines and I use my verified PayPal account and BPI Remittance service to do so. Nice online store, highly recommended =)

Hi, I really need help. I’ve withdrawn an amount of P11,000 from Paypal to BPI but after two weeks of waiting, the money hasn’t been reflected on my acct yet. My first withdrawal was successful but this one is making me very, very frustrated. I contacted Paypal and they told me that the transaction had been completed already so the problem must be with the bank. I went to BPI but they told me that they really didn’t receive anything so I should contact Paypal again. Oh, please! I’m so tired of going back and forth. Whatever happened to my money..urghh..@_@ I don’t know what to do anymore, been trying to contact Paypal and now waiting for the reponse.. Has any of you experienced this problem? Please advise me..
