Mommy's Joy

Meet My Blogger Friend

It’s been more than a year since we’ve been visiting each other’s site, reading one another’s blog posts, and commenting on each other’s lives so I’m so glad that I have finally met Crislyn of Life’s Lessons and Kerslyn’s Comfort Zone. See the matching blouses? Maybe that’s what blogging did to the both of us, we ended up having the same taste too. LOL!

Thanks, Crislyn for that delicious durian candy you gave me. I hope we can meet again in the future. Maybe next time it will be in Davao instead. ^^

Give Me Five Monday

I’m excite to join Give Me Five Monday Meme so you can get to know more about me, my wants, my dislikes, my dreams, my wishes… After all, this blog is all about me! LOL!

Give Me Five reasons you can be thankful this year.

1. Our healthy family. Aside from slight fever and flu, we didn’t get any serious kind of sickness.
2. Being spared from the infamous Ondoy flood and to think that we live in Cainta and all our neighbors were affected! Whew! Thank God for that! He really was faithful to us.
3. For the most useful gift that could ever be given to us – our very own car! Again, thanks to my Dad for this wonderful gift. It’s not brand new but hey, it gets us around. ^^
4. For both our jobs. Well, it really didn’t happen this year but for myself I have doubled my income from my online job this year. Also, I’m finally getting the knack of transcribing and I don’t cry anymore when I transcribe. LOL!
5. For my cousin who helps us around the house. We’re thankful that we can afford send her to a small school and in turn she helps us a lot. Our house is cleaner, happier, and more stress-free with her around. Oh, if only we can afford to keep her here forever!LOL

That completes my list. Looking forward to next Monday!

After Electrocauterization

It’s been two long weeks since I have undergone electrocauterization to remove some facial warts. After a long wait the scabs have finally fallen out. Here’s what my face looks like now.

No wounds? I wish! See the white spots, those are the wound marks and there are many of those but the camera didn’t capture it well enough. Sigh, I wish I it will disappear soon so I can leave this episode of my life behind. It’s dampening my mood and making me self conscious. :(

Why I Needed the Anew Rejuvenate Line The Most!

I’m so depressed right now. It’s about my face. I have just undergone electrocauterization to remove facial warts and right now my face looks really terrible. There are so many scars and right now I’m not confident that it will all go away in the future.

The only thing that comforts me is the fact that when I had undergone electrocauterization in my body all the wounds healed perfectly. I really hope that it will be that way too with my face.

There’s also another thing that comforted me, I was passing by Earthling’s blog when I saw she was giving away an Anew Rejuvenate Line. Oh, how I would love that in my terribly abused face. No, it’s not a want – I badly needed it!

Good thing joining is really easy. You just have to blog about the contest and why you need the Anew Rejuenate Line. I’m sure no one have a more perfect reason than me so that was fairly easy! LOL

So if you want to win that too, just go here. Please do join we need 50 contestants at the minimum for this contest to push through.
