Happy New Year!
It’s time to bid goodbye
to 2008 and say a wonderful welcome to 2009. The past year was the second year since we moved out and lived on our own. I’m still loving living on our own with just the three of us even if it meant doing all the house chores by myself I definitely would not give it up for anything else. I’m so happy that I finally have what I wanted since I was young: my own family.
For the year 2009, my only goal is to be able to start a business. It’s now or never. We have to set aside our fears and start before it’s too late. At the stroke of midnight tonight, S will be turning 29 and a couple of months later I will be 28. Our family is getting older. Even my baby is turning 4 this January 14. So I would formally start an online business that deals with furniture this January. Since my father already has a furniture store I would just start marketing it online and I hope that I would find customers through it.
My New Year’s Resolutions for 2009 are:
1. Be Happy!
2. Be Healthy!
3. Be Fit!
Happy New Year to all!
Christmas Plans
I can’t believe it’s only a FEW days before Christmas! We are likely to spend it here at our apartment instead of our parent’s house because S had to go to work at Christmas Eve. We’re not really sad that he won’t be with us because our family is always together anyway. He goes to work at night while we are sleeping and by the time we wake up we only have to wait a few hours and he’s home so for Z and me we hardly ever miss him. Anyway, my dilemma is what food am I going to cook for Christmas Eve? With only three people to feed, the third a toddler at that I have to cook just enough so that no food will be wasted. What we’re really excited is the New Year. It’s pretty big for us because it’s also S’s birthday. Z already has a surprise letter for his dad which he has painstakingly written. I’m sure S will appreciate it because he knows Z is still struggling with his writing lessons. Me, I’m thinking of buying my hubby a watch. As for li’l old me – well, all I want for Christmas is my family but it wouldn’t be bad to have that digital camera I like!
I Lost my Wedding ring at a Wedding
Oh no! I lost my wedding ring! We were out the whole day because we attended the wedding of my college friend. A few blocks away from our apartment I suddenly noticed that the finger where my wedding ring was supposed to be was bare. I didn’t panic or whatever but I felt like a cold hand held my heart. I was wishing for it to be just inside my bag but deep inside I knew it was unlikely. When we arrived, I immediately searched my bag and sure enough it was not there. I had a nice time attending the wedding and being somewhere different but I wish my wedding ring didn’t have to be lost. S was cool about it and I try to get it out of my mind but when I see his ring I automatically remember mine. sigh!
